Two men were busted trying to escape the botched burglary of a pizzeria in Bronxdale, authorities said.
Gregory Murdock, 20, and Johnathan Richards, 19, were allegedly part of a five-man crew that attempted to break into Pizza Express at 2125 White Plains Road at around 1:45 a.m. Feb. 6.
The thieves slinked into the rear of the property by slicing open a hole in a 7-foot-high chain-link fence topped with razor wire, cops said. Then, they ripped the wires out of the electrical box in an attempt to bypass a security alarm, cops added.
The hoods also damaged an air-conditioning unit and twisted the metal bars covering a window, cops said.
Murdock and Richards were collared by responding officers and charged with attempted burglary, criminal trespass and possession of burglar’s tools after a bolt-cutter was found at the scene.

Authorities are on the lookout for a police impersonator and would-be thief who posed as a cop investigating counterfeit cash in Greenpoint.
Larry Thomas, 41, allegedly displayed a police-type shield and told an 81-year-old woman he was a cop when he approached her on the street.
He somehow conned the victim into taking him to her home, where he showed her pictures of a man he claimed was a wanted suspect, cops said.
He then asked to inspect some cash to ensure it wasn’t fake, cops added. But before the victim handed over any bills, her daughter asked Thomas for ID, and the spooked flimflam man fled.
He was last seen driving away in a white Ford sedan with New Jersey plates.
