A Harlem woman, shot by her common-law husband in a murder-suicide attempt last month, has died, police said yesterday.

Nathaniel Brailsford, 37, shot Nicole Smith, 24, in the neck at around 1:30 a.m. in an apartment building on West 152nd Street near Frederick Douglass Boulevard, cops said. Brailsford then fatally shot himself. Smith was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital in a coma.

A melee involving more than 30 high-school students terrified passengers at two subway stations, as well as riders on a northbound C train.

Between 30 and 40 students from Humanities HS were involved in the fight, which apparently began on the train and spilled onto the platforms at two stops.

One youth was slightly injured at the station at 50th Street and Eighth Avenue, where four people were arrested.

Five more were arrested at Columbus Circle. Four cops at that station also suffered minor injuries. Those arrested were charged with rioting, inciting a riot and disorderly conduct.

BROOKLYN

A thief walked into a Crown Heights bank yesterday, slipped a note demanding money to a teller and escaped with $1,350, police said.

The robbery took place around 10:30 a.m. at a Carver Federal Savings Bank branch on Fulton Street near Nostrand Avenue. The robber was described as a black man in his 40s.

Three thugs forced their way into a Sheepshead Bay apartment yesterday, tied up a man and struck his head with the butt of a gun, police said.

The incident occurred about 12:30 a.m. on Avenue S near East 26th Street, where the unidentified attackers stole $200 before escaping in the man’s 2000 Porsche, cops said.

The 48-year-old victim, whose name was withheld, was treated and released at Coney Island Hospital.

An argument in the lobby of a Brownsville apartment building ended in a shooting death, cops said.

The gunplay began 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on Kings Highway near Rockaway Parkway, where an unidentified assailant pulled a pistol and shot Antron Owens, 28, in the stomach, police said.

The attacker fled. Owens was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have arrested three men they say shot a teenager in the face at a Brownsville apartment building.

Cops responded to a call at around 11 p.m. Tuesday on Jefferson Street near Irving Avenue, where they found the 18-year-old victim.

The teen, whose name was not released, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. After an investigation, police nabbed Wesley Foster, 27, Unique Dozier, 20, and Elsie Smith, 21, at a nearby apartment building. A shotgun and a rifle were recovered. Charges are pending against the suspects.

A Brownsville teen was arrested yesterday for allegedly murdering a man earlier this month, police said.

Juma Cain, 17, of Sumpter Street was charged with murder in the Nov. 1 shooting death of 22-year-old Jason Louther.

The victim was found inside a building on Chester Street with two gunshot wounds to the chest. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he died a few hours later. The motive for the shooting was not immediately clear.

QUEENS

A 22-year-old man was shot in the groin yesterday when a dispute erupted in Jamaica, police said.

Cops responded to a call at around 2:30 p.m. on 158th Street near North Conduit Avenue, where they found the wounded man and arrested the 22-year-old alleged gunman, Christopher Parchmont.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Jamaica Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A .38-caliber pistol was recovered at the scene. Charges are pending.

A suspected prostitute was arrested after she leaped from a second-floor window of a Flushing apartment building, police said yesterday.

Queens Vice Squad detectives were conducting an undercover operation Tuesday on 136th Street near 67th Road at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when Ling Hyun, 36, plunged to the ground.

She was taken to New York Hospital of Queens in stable condition and charged with prostitution.

A man was shot in the neck yesterday in front of a Flushing apartment building, police said. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on Sanford Avenue near Delong Street, where an unidentified assailant pulled a gun and fired at least one shot into a 25-year-old man, cops said. The gunman fled.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to New York Hospital of Queens in stable condition.

THE BRONX

A man was fighting for his life yesterday after being stabbed at a Castle Hill apartment building, cops said.

The violence erupted about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on Powell Avenue near Castle Hill Avenue, where an unidentified assailant pulled a knife and stabbed Luis Miranda, 37, in the lower back and chest, cops said. The attacker fled.

Miranda was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition.

Charges against a Bronx man arrested earlier this month for allegedly throwing a co-worker down a flight of stairs will be upgraded because the victim has died, police said yesterday.

Daniel Cordero-Rosario, 54, succumbed to his injuries Tuesday night at St. Barnabas Hospital – where he has been since Charles Simpson allegedly threw him down a stairwell on Nov. 7.

Police sources say the two men argued because Simpson believed Cordero-Rosario told their boss at a Webster Avenue roofing company that he damaged one of their trucks. The new charges against Simpson, who was originally booked on an assault rap, are pending.
