The Bronx
Strike three, yer out!
That’s right — this Bronx bumbler tried and failed to grab cash from Pay-O-Matic three times in one day, cops said.
He allegedly entered the check-cashing place at East Tremont and Honeywell avenues in University Heights at about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday and demanded money but the teller refused, so he dejectedly left empty handed.
But you can’t say he’s not persistent. He next tried the Pay-O-Matic a few blocks up, on East Tremont Avenue near Belmont Avenue, at 10:50 a.m., only to again fail miserably, the cops said.
Frustrated and out of fresh Pay-O-Matics to hit, he stewed away the afternoon, then returned at 8 p.m. to the first one — and went down swinging.
Now detectives, armed with the photo pictured, say they’d love to have a chat with him.
Staten Island
A driver with a suspended license took cops for a ride and nearly ran one of them over in Dongan Hills, authorities said.
When officers tried to pull Kwame Palmer, 22, over on Hunter Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, he sped off in his Infiniti G35, court records show.
But after screeching around corners without signaling, he came to an abrupt halt, thanks to a traffic jam, the documents state.
He then allegedly threw the car into reverse, and his side-view mirror knocked a cop into a parked car, police said.
The Infiniti also sideswiped a van before the officers finally stopped him at Richmond Road and Stobe Avenue, the court records show.
He was charged with reckless endangerment, assault and criminal possession of a gravity knife, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
Brooklyn
Cops are on the lookout for two teen boys who allegedly stole a younger boy’s cellphone in Williamsburg.
The 15-year-old victim was in the Lorimer Street J-train station at 3:20 p.m. on May 21 when the bullies grabbed his phone and fled, cops said.
They were described as 16 or 17 years old. One is 5-foot-8 and was wearing a Kangol hat and a blue tracksuit jacket with white stripes down the arms.
The other was wearing a similar jacket and a dark-blue Yankee cap, police said.

Another Yankee fan (pictured) has broken into several businesses along Brownsville’s discount commercial strip along Pitkin Avenue, police said.
He allegedly gained entry into a closed pizzeria, a bodega and three other shops between May 11 and Wednesday.
In each case, he got in through a window, cops said, before grabbing cash, clothes or computer equipment.

A 39-year-old biker was killed when he lost control of his Kawasaki Ninja and smashed into an oncoming car on Lefferts Boulevard in Ozone Park early yesterday, cops said.
The unidentified motorcyclist was southbound near Rockaway Boulevard when he hit the 2001 Nissan Altima at about 12:30 a.m., cops said.
He died at Jamaica Hospital.
The other driver remained at the scene, and police said no criminality was suspected.
Manhattan
Cornell Neilly (pictured) may be elusive, but he’s also well known to cops — for allegedly robbing 11 banks between Bowling Green and Morningside Heights.
His spree began at the HSBC branch on Broadway near West 103rd Street at about 12:40 p.m. on April 11 when he handed a teller a note and fled with cash, cops said.
Most recently, he hit a Sovereign branch on Eighth Avenue near West 52nd Street at 10:55 a.m. last Saturday, cops said.
He also has allegedly struck in the Financial District, Gramercy and the Upper West Side.
