A 61-year-old woman was killed when a vehicle plowed into her on a Washington Heights street, police said yesterday.

The woman was walking across Amsterdam Avenue near West 158th Street around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when the vehicle heading north on the avenue crashed into her.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where she died.

A knife-wielding teen stabbed his 16-year-old friend during an argument on a Harlem street, police said yesterday.

Luis Alejandro, 18, allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Rafael Vidal three times in the torso and left arm at 147th Street and Broadway around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. Police arrested Alejandro on assault and weapons charges.

Queens

Police are investigating the death of a 44-year-old woman who was found inside her Corona home with blood dripping from her head.

Karen Kennedy was found lying face up in her kitchen on 111th Street at 5:05 p.m. with lacerations on her head, cops said.

A man in his 20s made off with cash from a Bayside bank yesterday after slipping a note demanding money to a teller, police said.

The robbery took place around 10:30 a.m. at the Greenpoint branch on Northern Boulevard near 211th Street.

Brooklyn

A cop was suspended yesterday after a prisoner he was transporting in a police van escaped.

Cops said the suspect, Junior McLemmon, 41, slipped out of his handcuffs Tuesday on his way to be booked for the sale of 37 bags of marijuana.

Police said McLemmon leaped from the van as it pulled into the 77th Precinct parking lot and fled.

The suspended officer was identified as John Acconi, a six-year veteran.

A Department of Sanitation employee was arrested yesterday after fighting with a neighbor over a parking spot, cops said.

Milton Cambell, 41, an eight-year veteran, was charged with menacing after getting into a screaming match with a neighbor on Quincy Street in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section just after 5 p.m.

A 32-year-old man beat and kicked his girlfriend early yesterday at a party in their Sheepshead Bay home, authorities said.

Wilson Morales got into an alcohol-fueled argument with Aleda Figueroa in their home on Coney Island Avenue just after midnight.

Horrified party guests watched as Morales allegedly punched and kicked Figueroa in the head, stomach and back.

Figueroa tried to flee, but Morales pushed her to the floor and cut her hands and fingers with a shattered beer bottle.

Cops were called to the scene and arrested Morales, who was charged with assault, menacing and harassment.

Bronx

A murder charge was filed against the nephew of a Mount Eden man found dead in his home last month, cops said yesterday.

Roberto Rivera, 21, of Lexington Avenue in East Harlem, was arrested yesterday in the slaying of his uncle Michael Rivera, 40.

The elder Rivera was found dead of severe head injuries in his Wythe Place apartment on November 26.

Staten Island

Two children were targets of separate abduction attempts yesterday, but both children ran away before they could be taken, cops said.

The first abduction attempt occurred on Maine Street and Wardwell Avenue in the Westerleigh section at 2:30 p.m.

A 13-year-old girl was approached by a man in his 20s driving a white Ford Mustang. She ran away when the man tried to force her into his car.

In the other incident, a 10-year-old boy was approached on the corner of Bedell Street and Joline Avenue in Tottenville by a man in his 40s in a gray van.
