QUEENS
* An unidentified man was killed yesterday when he fell asleep at the wheel and crashed on the Grand Central Parkway, police said.
The man was heading east on the highway near 159th Street at 10:30 a.m., when his 1999 Ford minivan slammed into the median and flipped over. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
* Three teenagers have been arrested in a string of muggings in subways in Queens and Manhattan, police said yesterday.
Fared Hosein, 19, Joel Nieves, 18, and a 14-year-old boy whose name was withheld were nabbed by police Saturday on a No. 7 train at the 33rd Street station in Sunnyside after stealing a wallet during their 10th train robbery, cops said.
From April 3 through 17, the unarmed assailants struck nine other times at various stations in both boroughs. No injuries were reported.
* A Brooklyn man was arrested and charged with raping a woman while robbing her Richmond Hill home, police said yesterday.
Irakli Kakhniashivli, 24, accosted the 24-year-old woman – with whom he is acquainted – in her residence at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
After sexually assaulting her, he allegedly stole some property and fled.
Police grabbed Kakhniashivli at his Sheepshead Bay home Saturday and charged him with rape and burglary.
THE BRONX
* A Soundview man has been arrested in the fatal shooting of another man during an argument, police said yesterday.
Fabian Arthur brandished a .38-caliber gun and shot Mario Bello, 23, in the head on the street at Beach Avenue near Randall Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, cops said.
After police were called, Arthur, 21, was busted at the scene and charged with murder and gun possession.
* A young man was wounded by a gunman in a Hunts Point building, police said yesterday.
The man, 20, was hit in the stomach in the lobby of the apartment building on Barretto Street around 11 p.m. Saturday, when his attacker opened fire and fled.
The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. Police do not know the motive for the attack.
MANHATTAN
* A gunman shot a man on an East Harlem street yesterday before fleeing, police said.
Cops did not know what sparked the attack, but said it took place at 1:34 a.m. at East 107th Street and Madison Avenue.
The victim was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
* A woman was hospitalized yesterday after being shot in the buttocks on a Washington Heights street, cops said.
Police said they were searching for the shooter in connection with the 1:15 a.m. attack at West 164th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, but would not elaborate.
The victim, 26, was brought to Harlem Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
BROOKLYN
* A man was shot in the stomach early yesterday on a Sunset Park street, police said.
The man, whose name and age were withheld, was shot at 46th Street and Fifth Avenue at around 4:30 p.m.
He was taken to Lutheran Hospital in stable condition.
* Police are investigating a bias incident in which anti-Jewish scrawlings were found yesterday on the Coney Island boardwalk.
A passer-by discovered the vandalism at around 10 a.m. at West 15th Street and the boardwalk.
