*** A man was shot dead in the Olinville section yesterday morning in an apparent drug-related incident, police and neighborhood sources said.

Andre Williams, 23, was shot in front of 729 Tilden Ave. just after 10 a.m. by at least one gunman, the sources said.

The killer or killers apparently followed Williams and began firing at him when he emerged from a nearby sandwich shop, said a bystander.

A fusillade of bullets hit Williams in his head, neck, torso and legs. He was taken to Montefiore Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Several 9 mm and .380 slugs were reportedly recovered at the scene.

*** A 21-year-old man, who was hit Friday by an out-of-control private ambulance after it hopped a curb in Concourse Village, was clinging to life yesterday, cops said.

The critically injured man, whose name was being withheld, was hit as he stood in front of 780 Grand Concourse just before 12:30 p.m. Friday, police said.

The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

It was still unclear how the unnamed 50-year-old driver lost control of the ambulance, which is owned by Bronx-based Galaxy Transportation. The company refused to comment on the accident.

The driver is not facing any charges.

QUEENS

*** Police are probing the vehicular assault of a pedestrian who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Jamaica yesterday morning.

The 39-year-old victim was crossing the Cross Island Parkway at 10:50 a.m. from the west side of the road when a white sedan heading south struck him, police said.

The driver fled and the victim was taken to Manhasset Hospital, where he is in serious condition.

BROOKLYN

*** A man who got into a traffic accident yesterday morning in Fort Greene was busted for driving a stolen car, police said.

Gary King, 23, was in a blue Chevy van at 9:15 a.m. when he crashed into a pole at the intersection of North Elliot Place and Park Avenue, police said.

After the crash, a policewoman fired a round from her service revolver – a possible accidental discharge.

When cops at the scene determined that the Chevy had been reported stolen, King was charged with grand larceny auto and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

*** An employee for the city’s Human Resources Administration was arrested yesterday in connection with an illegal eviction, police said.

Jacquelin Wesley, 42, was arrested at 7:20 a.m. at 113 Conklin Ave. and charged with obstructing governmental administration, unlawful eviction and aggravated harassment.

Details of the incident were not immediately available, but police said the arrest stemmed from a landlord-tenant dispute.
