MANHATTAN
* A gunman critically wounded a man inside a Hamilton Heights building yesterday.
The victim, Kelvin Genoa-Rosario, 28, of Washington Heights, was shot in the head on the fourth floor of 476 W. 141st St. at 11:28 a.m., cops said.
He was taken to Harlem Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators are probing the possibility that the shooting was drug related, police sources said.
* A taxi struck a man in Chelsea yesterday, police sources said.
The driver came to an abrupt stop, but couldn’t avoid hitting the victim, who was crossing 23rd Street at Seventh Avenue at 10:11 a.m., police sources said.
The victim, whose name and age were not released, was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Authorities said his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
* A note-passing thief robbed an Upper East Side bank yesterday.
The robber slipped a note demanding cash to teller at a Commerce Bank branch on Third Avenue and East 85th Street at 9:17 a.m.
After the employee complied, the man fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
BROOKLYN
* Two thugs gunned down a 22-year-old man on a Lefferts Gardens street, police said yesterday.
The victim was shot once in his lower back on Fenimore Street at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, cops said.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. His attackers fled.
A man was struck and killed by a subway train yesterday after he apparently laid down on the tracks in a DUMBO station, authorities said.
The unidentified man in his 40s was hit by a Manhattan-bound F train at around 8 p.m. in the York Street Station.
Service was briefly rerouted to the A and C lines from Jay Street in Brooklyn to West 4th Street in Manhattan.
* Three thugs held up a Marine Park drugstore at gunpoint early yesterday, police sources said.
The thieves, all wearing bandanas over their faces, walked into a Walgreens at 5716 Ave. U at 3 a.m., pulled a gun and forced a security guard and the store’s night manager into a back office, sources said.
The thugs then forced the 49-year-old manager to open a safe and took several hundred dollars before fleeing, cleaning out a cash register on the way.
The man with the gun is described as black, in his 20s, standing about 5-feet-7-inches, wearing a red bandana and black baseball cap.

* A 47-year-old man was shot as he stood on an Eastchester street corner, police said yesterday.
The victim, whose name was withheld, told cops he was standing at Light Street and Dyre Avenue around 10:15 p.m. Sunday when he heard gunshots and felt a sudden pain in his left arm.
He was taken to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital.
Authorities said he’s expected to recover.
* A would-be thief tried to hold up a Morris Heights bank yesterday morning, but walked out empty handed, police sources said.
The hapless hooligan walked into a Chase Bank branch at 5 W. Burnside Ave. at 9:28 a.m. and passed a demand note to a teller, only to be ignored. He fled without any cash.
QUEENS
* A man was shot in Jamaica early yesterday, police said.
The unidentified 28-year-old victim was attacked on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard just after midnight, cops said.
He was rushed to Mary Immaculate Hospital, authorities said.
* A city correction officer was arrested in Richmond Hill for disorderly conduct early yesterday, police said.
Debra Dentrice, 47, was nabbed after what police called a domestic dispute at 1:07 a.m., authorities said.
* A bike rider was struck and killed by a van in a Queens intersection yesterday afternoon, police said.
The victim, 56, who was hit at 111th Street and 111th Avenue in Ozone Park at 1:22 p.m., was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition. He died there shortly before 2 p.m., police said.
Police sources said the van driver may have gone through a stop sign, but no charges were immediately filed.
The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of his relatives. (m, s)
