QUEENS
*** A man was struck by an errant bullet as he walked down a Jamaica street yesterday, cops said.
The man, 22, whose name was withheld, was on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard near 134th Street at 4:30 p.m. when an argument between two men up the block led to gunplay, police said.
One of the two men fired shots, one of which hit the innocent bystander in his right thigh.
The two men ran off and the victim was taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital in stable condition.
THE BRONX
*** A man was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a Bronx man in Parkchester two months ago, police said yesterday.
Damien Brown, 22, of Arthur Avenue, The Bronx, was arrested for the May 15 stabbing of Earl McClellan, 26, in front of 1085 Beach Ave., police said.
McClellan, of Watson Avenue, was taken to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
STATEN ISLAND
*** A Staten Island man has been arrested on criminal-mischief and graffiti charges in the vandalizing of a police van and an American flag mural, sources said.
Michael Cafaro, 24, of Utica Street, spray-painted lettering on a police van parked on Richmond Terrace on July 18, sources said.
He also defaced a mural at 705 Van Duzer St. the day before, sources said.
