*** Cops are asking for the public’s help in finding a man (above) who raped a 14-year-old girl at knifepoint on the roof an Upper West Side building.
The knife-wielding man grabbed the girl in the hallway of a West 92nd Street building and dragged her to the roof Friday night.
“Don’t scream or I will kill you,” the thug warned, sources said.
The man then raped the teen and beat her, cops said. He is described as being between 17 and 20 years old, standing between 6-foot-1 and 6-foot-3 and weighing 185 pounds.
He had two long cornrows in his hair and was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a pair of white and gray Nike hightop sneakers.
*** Two cops arrested a homeless man yesterday after he broke into an East Harlem church and made off with electronic equipment, police sources said.
Officers Andrew Burns and John Prado were patrolling in an unmarked car at 5 a.m.
There, they said they saw Envio Colon, 31, and another man with three computers in a shopping cart near St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church at 114 E. 118th St., sources said.
The officers had been keeping an eye on the church because it was burglarized three previous times since Aug. 3.
Authorities said the cops jumped out of the car and grabbed Colon. Sources said he took the computers from the children’s library. His accomplice got away.
*** A group of hoodlums spewed anti-gay slurs at two men and hit one with a bottle in East Harlem, police said yesterday.
Approximately eight unidentified men were walking east on 122nd Street and Third Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. Friday when they confronted their victims and made the derogatory remarks.
The victims tried to walk away, but the group followed them.
Someone in the group tossed a bottle, which struck one of the victims in the head, causing a minor cut. He was released after treatment at St. Luke’s Hospital.
THE BRONX
*** A teenager was clinging to life last night after being shot in the back on a Mount Hope street, cops said.
The 19-year-old man, whose name was withheld, was near East 176th Street and Monroe Avenue just after 6:30 p.m. when an unknown triggerman came up from behind him and fired several rounds just, police said. The victim was shot twice in the back and rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.
BROOKLYN
*** A homeless man suffered a possible skull fracture Friday on a Sheepshead Bay street, police sources said yesterday.
The unidentified man, in his 40s, was discovered with head injuries at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Shore Parkway at 11:20 p.m. Friday.
He was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
A Bushwick man died after being shot in the head in his apartment, police said yesterday.
Ramon Velez, 35, was found lying face down in the bedroom of his Hart Street apartment at 7 p.m. Friday, cops said.
QUEENS
*** A 24-year-old man was shot in the arm yesterday after two gunmen got out of a vehicle and opened fire on a Jamaica street, police said.
The victim was walking at 169th Street and 88th Avenue at 3 a.m., when two unidentified men rolled up in their car and jumped out with guns blazing, hitting the man in his right arm as he ran away.
The wounded man was taken to Mary Immaculate Hospital, where he was released after treatment. The suspects fled.
