BROOKLYN

* Police are looking for this man (above), identified as Roger Woods, 20, in connection with the shooting death of a 15-year-old honors student outside a Flatbush liquor store on Monday.

According to police sources, Woods engaged in a fight with a man, apparently over drugs, and when the two later met at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Maple Street, Woods opened fire.

Cops say he missed his target but hit the teen, Eric Johnson, and wounded two others.

Johnson, an honors student at Lincoln HS, died early Tuesday after his devastated family took him off life support.

Woods is about 5-foot-9 and weighs 190. Police believe he may try to flee the country.

* A mystery gunman wounded a teenager on a Brownsville street, police said yesterday.

The 16-year-old victim was on Fulton Street when the triggerman opened fire and struck him in the shoulder at 10:29 p.m. on Tuesday.

The injured teen, whose name was withheld, was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police recovered six 9 mm shell casings at the scene.

* A man shot while crossing a Brownsville street in July has died, police said yesterday.

Ovadiah Ricks, 27, died at Brookdale Hospital at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Ricks was shot several times on July 28. Cops are continuing to investigate and are looking for the gunman.

MANHATTAN

* An armed gunman held up a Hamilton Heights bank, police said yesterday.

The suspect walked into the City National Bank at 1631 Amsterdam Ave. around 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday, displayed a gun and handed a teller a note demanding cash, cops said.

After the bank employee complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of money, the thief fled.

* Anti-Semitic scrawls were found on a trailer parked on an Inwood street corner, police said yesterday.

The offensive scrawls were discovered at West 214th Street and Park Terrace at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

* A note-passing thief stole eyeglass frames from a Kips Bay optical store, police sources said yesterday.

The robber walked into Kips Bay Optical at 608 Second Ave. at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, simulated a gun and slipped a demand note to an employee, sources said.

The 28-year-old counterman handed the bandit several eyeglass frames and a cellphone. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, 5-foot-9 and about 175 pounds. (s, lcf)

* A 28-year-old man was slashed outside an Upper West Side Mexican restaurant early yesterday, police sources said.

The victim, whose name was withheld, was walking out of the Juquila Restaurant at 931 Amsterdam Ave. when a stranger attacked him with a broken bottle at 2:30 a.m., sources said.

The victim was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment of lacerations.

THE BRONX

* A Morris Heights store was burglarized early yesterday, police sources said.

An employee of Webster Distributors at 1745 Grand Ave. discovered the break-in when he opened the shop at 3:15 a.m., sources said.

The 27-year-old man noticed that glass on the side door was broken and realized an undisclosed amount of money was missing.

* Two thugs, one armed with a gun and the other commanding a snarling dog, mugged a man in Kingsbridge Heights early yesterday, police sources said.

The 34-year-old victim was on Sedgwick Avenue at 2:40 a.m. when the two walked up to him and demanded his belongings.

According to sources, one of the thieves punched the victim in the face and knocked him down while the other robber had the dog bite the man’s leg.

Once the victim was on the ground, the armed bandit pistol-whipped him and stole his money and cellphone.

The victim went to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

One crook is a black man, about 25 years old, 5-foot-9 and 190.

The thief with dog in tow is a Hispanic man, about 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds.

QUEENS (s, lcf)

* A Springfield Gardens teen was arrested yesterday for robbing an elderly woman who lives just down the street from him, police sources said.

Robert Rhodes, 19, and four cohorts allegedly walked into the 75-year-old woman’s Westgate Street home through a side door at 3:15 p.m., according to the sources.

The woman, whose name was withheld, was inside playing the piano when she realized the robbers were in her house.

She confronted them, but they went ahead with the robbery. It was not clear what was taken.

They left without injuring her.

According to the sources, the woman immediately recognized her neighbor and gave cops a description. Rhodes was busted an hour later by detectives from the 113th Precinct’s robbery unit.
