QUEENS
*** Two men have pleaded guilty to charges they fabricated allegations of police brutality after they were each arrested by cops in separate cases in Queens and the Bronx, authorities said yesterday.
In the Queens case, Andrew Facey, 19, alleged he was the victim of an Abner Louima-type attack in Queens station house last September.
In The Bronx case, José Peralta, 27 claimed officers used cigarettes to burn his left hand during an allegedly forced confession in November 2003.
BROOKLYN
*** A teenager was arrested for beating, robbing and menacing a man in an East New York apartment building, authorities said yesterday.
Police sources said Andrew McWhite, 18, was arguing with the 34-year-old man in the building at Stanley Avenue and Hemlock Street.
McWhite suddenly pulled out a boxcutter and threatened to kill the man, with whom McWhite is acquainted.
Then, accompanied by friends, McWhite slugged and kicked the victim in the head and midsection, sources said.
After, McWhite snatched the victim’s wallet and fled.
The victim, who lives near McWhite, reported the incident to police that same day.
The victim later went to Brookdale Hospital, where he was treated and released.
McWhite was arrested on Monday.
*** A Bedford-Stuyvesant woman was arrested for slashing a woman who interceded in a fight, authorities said yesterday.
Police sources said Sharon Grice, 47, was arguing with another person at Ralph and Jefferson avenues about 9:30 a.m. Sunday when the 37-year-old victim stepped in between them. Grice screamed at the victim, who picked up two bottles to defend herself. The victim said she believed Grice was wielding a razor blade.
Grice ran to her apartment nearby, grabbed two kitchen knives and returned to the scene. She then allegedly slashed the victim on the index finger before fleeing. The victim was treated by EMS at the scene for a laceration.
Grice was arrested Monday on charges of assault, menacing and weapons possession.
MANHATTAN
*** A man has been arrested for fatally stabbing his girlfriend in her Harlem apartment during an argument over another man the victim was seeing, police sources said yesterday.
William Lanzot, 44, clashed with Sheila Garrett, 42, in her home at 115th Street near Fifth Avenue about 1:30 p.m. Monday, the sources said. Lanzot repeatedly stabbed Garrett in the chest, cops said.
Police recovered knives at the scene, but it was unclear whether any of them were used in the attack.
Lanzot was arrested and charges were pending yesterday.
STATEN ISLAND
*** A teenager was arrested for pummeling a man during an attempted robbery on a West Brighton street, authorities said yesterday.
Police sources said Michael Deaza, 18, accosted the victim at Elizabeth Street near Myrtle Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Monday, when Deaza asked the victim for change of a 50-dollar bill.
When the victim agreed and reached into his pocket, Deaza allegedly slugged the man several times in the face and midsection, knocking him to the ground.
Deaza was nabbed by police that day and charged with assault and attempted robbery. The victim suffered bruising and swelling to the face.
** A Grasmere man was arrested for statutory rape after he got his 15-year-old neighbor pregnant last year, authorities said yesterday.
Police sources said Rafael Diaz, 26, had sex with the girl in his McClean Avenue apartment about 11 a.m. on Dec. 29.
Afterward, the girl learned she was pregnant and got an abortion, sources said.
Diaz was arrested on Monday and charged with third-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.
