* Police yesterday were searching for this man (above) who held up a Boerum Hill bank.

The unidentified man walked into the Washington Mutual branch at 9:19 a.m. last Friday, slipped a demand note to a teller and fled with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect was described as between 35 and 45 years old, 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11, and weighing 170 to 180 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with a gray, hooded sweatshirt.

* An argument in the parking lot of the Kings Plaza mall in Mill Basin ended in gunfire last night, leaving the victim with a graze wound to the leg.

Two men, who had argued earlier, bumped into each other outside the mall near Avenue U and East 54th Street around 9:30 p.m.

The shooter, described as a 22-year-old black man, dressed entirely in black, shot his unidentified victim in the left leg and fled, police said.

The wounded man returned to the mall to call police.

He was later treated at Kings County Hospital. (lcf)

* A pregnant woman was injured yesterday when her car was struck by another vehicle in Sunset Park, authorities said.

The 29-year-old woman, whose name was withheld, was parked on Eighth Avenue, an FDNY spokesman said.

The woman was not seriously injured, authorities said, but firefighters needed to cut her from the crumpled auto. (lcf)

* A Flatbush man has been arrested for slashing a former friend with a knife, authorities said yesterday.

The violence began at 10:50 a.m. on Dec. 13, when Lucus Rosa, 22, emerged with a knife from his car at Rogers Avenue and Lenox Road, police sources said.

Rosa approached the victim, a 22-year-old man, and slashed him in the face for reasons that remain unclear.

The assailant then jumped back in his car and sped away.

The victim, who needed 30 stitches to close a gash, reported the slashing to police.

Cops tracked down Rosa on Wednesday and arrested him on charges of assault and menacing, sources said.

* A drunk driver was arrested in Sunset Park after he got into a three-car collision that left two passengers in critical condition, authorities said yesterday.

Police sources said Rigoberto Gadia, 25, was driving south on Seventh Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when he veered into the northbound lane then returned to the southbound lane, hitting a Honda, which was propelled into a car parked at 53rd Street.

Firefighters had to free two trapped passengers, a 31-year-old woman in the Honda and an unidentified person in Gadia’s Lincoln Town Car.

The injured passengers were rushed to Lutheran Hospital. Gadia was charged with driving under the influence.

STATEN ISLAND

* Two men armed with 100 cans of spray paint and other materials were caught early yesterday before they could spray graffiti on a Granitville restaurant, authorities said yesterday.

Cops were called about 3:10 a.m. to the back of a Chili’s Restaurant at 1497 Richmond Ave., where they spotted Thomas Dolce, 30, and Sean Molloy, 23, with spray cans of various colors, sources said.

Police also recovered eight latex gloves, two notebooks containing graffiti “tags,” or signatures, seven rolls of film, a respirator mask and a graffiti magazine.

The suspects were charged with possession of graffiti instruments.

* A Stapleton woman was arrested for beating, kicking and threatening another woman with a knife and a hammer, authorities said yesterday.

Police sources said Blanka Alvarez, 22, pounced on the victim on North Burgher Avenue near Henderson Avenue in Livingston about 9 p.m. on Monday.

Alvarez allegedly punched and kicked the victim, causing arm bruises and swelling.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the attack. Alvarez was arrested Wednesday. and charged with assault, menacing and weapons possession.

* A man has been arrested for snatching about $1,500 in gold jewelry from a friend’s West Brighton home last month, authorities said yesterday.

Between 8:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Feb. 3, Arthur Goode, 34, swiped his female friend’s three gold chains and gold pennant in her Bement Avenue residence and fled, sources said.

When the victim realized her jewelry was missing, she reported it to 120th Precinct police.

Goode was arrested Wednesday and charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

THE BRONX

* A woman under arrest for possessing crack outside a Morrisania housing project knocked a patrolman down and escaped last night.

Police said the 24-year-old woman, who was not immediately identified, had been handcuffed with her hands behind her back at 7:18 p.m. when she struck the uniformed officer, who slipped on a patch of ice.

The cop was about to place the woman in a police vehicle after she was busted for possessing crack and drug paraphernalia. (lcf)

* New details have emerged in the fatal shooting of a man in Tremont on Wednesday.

Police sources said Ezekiel Brown, 23, may have been involved in a drug transaction with a male acquaintance at East 187th Street and Webster Avenue about 7 p.m.

The unidentified man allegedly pulled a gun, shot Brown in the neck and fled.

Sources said the two men had a previous argument, the details of which were not known.

Brown died at the scene.
