* A 19-year-old man allegedly carrying marijuana was arrested after he beat an acquaintance with a broomstick in the victim’s Great Kills home, authorities said yesterday.

Police said Vincent Militello and five accomplices were arguing with the male victim, about 19, in his Arkansas Avenue residence around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.

During the dispute, Militello grabbed a broomstick and hit the teen in the forehead, inflicting a wound that required stitches.

Police were called and arrested Militello, who was found carrying an unspecified amount of marijuana.

He was charged with assault, weapons possession and marijuana possession.

The accomplices fled. It was not immediately clear what sparked the violence.

* A teenager has been arrested for stealing a CD player from a man at knifepoint on a New Dorp street in January, authorities said yesterday.

The robbery occurred about 8:15 a.m. on Jan. 10, when Mark Julien, 18, armed with a knife, confronted the a man at Hylan Boulevard and New Dorp Lane, court records show.

Julien allegedly snatched the CD player the victim was carrying and fled.

He was arrested Tuesday and charged with robbery and weapons possession.

* A man has been arrested for roughing up his ex-girlfriend in front of her infant children in her Stapleton home, authorities said yesterday.

Police sources said Beneno Sabdeko, 22, grabbed the woman by the hair and wrist in the Broad Street home about 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Sabdeko then allegedly tossed her to the ground.

He was arrested Tuesday and charged with assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the confrontation.

BROOKLYN

* A man has been arrested for shooting a male acquaintance in a jealous rage in Cobble Hill, authorities said yesterday.

Police sources said Christia Valenzuela, 23, challenged the 21-year-old victim to a fight in the vicinity of Smith Street near Amity Street about 4:30 a.m. on March 4.

Valenzuela pulled a gun and shot the victim twice because he was jealous of the victim’s women and cars, the sources said.

The victim jumped into his car and drove to his 43rd Street home.

It was not immediately clear if he sought medical attention.

Later that morning, Valenzuela’s friends used bats to smash the victim’s car and were arrested by police.

Their names and charges were unavailable.

Valenzuela was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment and weapons possession.

* An emotionally disturbed man died yesterday on the tracks of a Greenpoint subway station, authorities said.

Patrick Elasik, 26, of Rockaway Beach, Queens, was walking on the tracks of the G line at the Nassau Avenue station at about 1:30 a.m. when he apparently came into contact with the third rail and was electrocuted, cops said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

MANHATTAN

* A man in his 50s jumped to his death from the roof of the Times Square Hotel late last night – and landed next to a school bus on Eighth Avenue, as the students aboard watched in horror, cops said.

The man, whose name was withheld, got to the roof of the 15-story hotel on the corner of West 43rd Street through a door that was not alarmed. (lcf)

* A man made off with cash after he stuck up an Upper West Side bank, police said yesterday.

The unidentified man, in his 50s, walked into the Commerce branch at Broadway near West 68th Street about 12:40 p.m. Tuesday and slipped a demand note to a teller.

After the teller forked over an unspecified amount of cash, the suspect fled.

* A 28-year-old man plunged six stories to his death when he fell from a window in a relative’s Upper East Side apartment, police said.

Ian Honeycutt, of Glenview, Ill., was staying at his aunt’s ninth-floor apartment at 220 E. 72nd St.

At 7:44 a.m. yesterday, the building’s superintendent spotted Honeycutt’s fully clothed body on a third-floor landing of and adjoining building, at 221 E. 71st St., cops said.

According to police sources, Honeycutt, who was wearing a scarf, hat and gloves, may have died while leaning out a window smoking a cigarette, because his host did not allow smoking in her home. (m, s)

QUEENS

* A Corona man has been arrested for fatally stabbing his roommate during a booze-fueled fight, authorities said yesterday.

José Guachiac, 25, was trying to sleep as his roommate, Carlos Ixquiactap, 18, was drinking and playing loud music in their basement apartment about 1 a.m. Tuesday, sources said.

According to police, Guachiac confronted Ixquiactap and demanded he lower the music, sparking a confrontation.

As Ixquiactap picked up a screwdriver, Guachiac grabbed a knife, police sources said.

Guachiac stabbed Ixquiactap in the back and shoulder, cops said. The victim died at the scene.

Guachiac was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder and weapons possession.
