An NYPD detective was clipped by a cop vehicle just outside police headquarters Friday morning and ended up in the hospital, cops said.
The cop was walking outside 1 Police Plaza in Lower Manhattan when he was struck by an NYPD van around 6 a.m., police said.

The detective was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
