A swarm of federal law enforcement and immigration authorities backed by the NYPD raided a pair of brothels posing as hotels Thursday afternoon, sources said.

Agents from the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as city cops and reps from the Department of Buildings were searching both properties and carting out evidence.
A man who works near the Brooklyn hotel said the place was a dump, and that the hookers plied their trade on the streets outside.
“Sometimes you go around the corner the girls approach you and stuff they say want a date? Want to hang out? Skells, trashy looking,” said the worker, who gave his name as Mike.
Reviews on the travel website TripAdvisor were even less flattering.
“Horrible Hotel! Stay Away!!!” wrote a woman who stayed there earlier this month.
“The rooms were disgusting, the bathroom was full of mold and the fan didn’t work. All night long I heard people coming in and out. This is def a party hotel. Should be by the hour. I stayed here with my 8 year old. All night long I heard people talking, fighting and the smell of marijuana was overwhelming. Place needs to be shut down! Do not bring your family here !!!” she wrote.
“Worst place ever!!” another woman wrote on the site about the hotel in Queens.
“Awful place! Very upset never coming or recommending here to anyone.”
It was unclear if any arrests were made in Brooklyn, while two men were taken into custody in Queens. Charges were not immediately available.
