A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a homeless man who was walking along the FDR Drive in Manhattan Sunday night, cops said.

The unidentified victim was walking along the southbound lanes at about 7:45 p.m. when the driver of the car slammed into him near 14th Street and drove off, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle drove off heading southbound, police said.

The NYPD is working to identify the make and model of the vehicle.

The after-dark collision occurred as heavy rainfall and intermittent thunderstorms hit New York City Sunday night.
