A 33-year-old woman was found mortally injured in front of a building in East Harlem and police are looking into whether foul play was involved, sources said Sunday.
Yanina Boitel was discovered lying unconscious, with trauma to her body, in front of 2070 Third Ave. on Saturday night, according to law-enforcement sources.
She was transported to Metropolitan Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Boitel was out drinking with her boyfriend before the incident, the sources said. It wasn’t clear whether she had fallen off the building’s roof.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
