Police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy found unconscious at a Staten Island home.

Police say the toddler was pronounced dead at Staten Island University Hospital North. Police went to the house at 1 a.m. Tuesday and found the child unconscious and unresponsive. They say there were some signs of trauma.

No arrests have been made. Police say the investigation is continuing.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
