The NYPD is investigating three egg attacks in Brooklyn over the weekend, authorities said Monday.

Two of the incidents occurred Saturday, the first around 6 p.m., when a 38-year-old woman had eggs thrown at her on 38th Street near 14th Avenue in Borough Park, police said. About 15 minutes later, an egg was thrown at a wall of Congregation Bnei Torah Sanz, which police are now investigating as a possible hate crime.

In a third incident Sunday, three unidentified people crept up behind a 50-year-old woman and threw an egg at her back around 4:15 p.m., cops said.

Police said the motive in the eggings is unclear.

The NYPD has been investigating a string of possible anti-Semitic attacks in the south Brooklyn neighborhood since last week.
