A “suspicious package” discovered a block from Penn Station on Tuesday morning sparked a two-and-a-half-hour probe — before police determined it was actually a pest-control device, cops said.

A call came in around 9:15 a.m. about the package in front of 209 W. 35th St. in Midtown near Seventh Avenue, cops said.

The NYPD’s Bomb Squad and Emergency Service Unit responded.

By 11:45 a.m., the scene was cleared and cops confirmed the “suspicious” item was actually a device known as a bulb duster, which dispenses pesticide, authorities said.
