A prisoner who escaped from police during a traffic stop in Washington Heights has been captured in Pennsylvania, sources said.

Members of the Manhattan Violent Felony Squad tracked William Monge-Betancourt, 23, to a home in Allentown before arresting him with the assistance of local authorities, sources said.

Police have been after Monge-Betancourt since Dec. 27, when they first spotted him speeding around 10 p.m. in Harlem. Cops say he led them on a nearly four-mile chase before finally pulling over near West 181 Street and Haven Avenue.

Monge-Betancourt and his passenger were cuffed after officers said they found drugs in the car, but the slippery fiend managed to wrestle free and dashed across I-95 — which connects the George Washington Bridge with the Cross Bronx Expressway — before disappearing, cops said.

Monge-Betancourt is currently in custody in Pennsylvania and is awaiting extradition back to New York, sources said.
