A police officer was struck by a stolen car during a traffic stop in the Bronx on Sunday night and the officer’s partner opened fire on the vehicle as the suspect fled the scene, cops said.

Cops responded to an alleged carjacking near Westchester Avenue and Elder Avenue and spotted a vehicle reported stolen at around 10:20 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.

While attempting to pull the suspect over, the driver hit the gas and rammed into one of the officers, sources said.

The injured officer’s partner opened fire at the car and four suspects hopped out and fled on foot, according to the sources.

The officer was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center and is expected to survive her injuries.

The stolen car was recovered at the scene. No arrests have been made.
