This web-footed mammal was out of its element.

Two NYPD officers spotted a seal on a Queens beach Wednesday and guided the mammal back to the icy water, police said on Twitter Thursday.

“This little guy gave us his seal of approval,” the post reads. “The cold air couldn’t stop these officers in the @NYPD101Pct from cracking a big smile as they helped this lost seal get back home to the ocean yesterday.”
