A 25-year-old innocent bystander was shot in the buttocks while riding an MTA bus in Brooklyn Tuesday night, according to police and law enforcement sources.
The shooting broke out after a man got into an argument with another male on the B44 bus near Rogers Avenue and Empire Boulevard at around 10:20 p.m., authorities said.
The suspect opened fire but the bullet missed his intended target and struck the male bystander, cops and sources said.

The shooter and a woman he was with fled the bus at the next stop, police and sources said.
The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital and is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, cops said.
