The NYPD is probing whether a random attack on a 40-year-old Asian man in Brooklyn was a hate crime, police said Tuesday.

The incident occurred just after 11:15 a.m. Monday at a Sheepshead Bay grocery store on Avenue U, where the victim was pushed to the ground by an unknown man, according to police.

The victim was unharmed, cops said.

Police pulled surveillance footage from the market, and the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.
