An NYPD cop whose name was cleared after he was linked to Upper East Side madam Anna Gristina was given an apology and a promotion by department brass.

Sgt. Richard Wall, who was assigned to the 19th Precinct and had been frequently seen outside Gristina’s alleged East 78th Street brothel, was dragged before internal affairs and forced to produce five years worth of log books before it was determined he was there on unrelated business.

The promotion does not officially change his rank or authority, but it comes with an extra $11,000 a year for a new base pay of $112,000.

Wall is now assigned to an Internal Affairs office in Queens. He has been with the NYPD for 14 years.
