Cops on Monday night released a photo of the car driven by a gunman who shot an 11-month-old girl with a stray bullet in the Bronx last week.
The suspect fled in a grey Nissan four-door sedan after firing off at least two rounds while chasing another man on foot near the intersection of East 198 Street towards Valentine Avenue on Wednesday night.
One of the bullets traveled through the back of a vehicle and hit the baby in the left cheek as she was strapped in a car seat.
The child, whose first birthday was on Friday, underwent brain surgery and was recovering at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center.
The baby’s 32-year-old mother, Miraida Gomez, was also inside the car at the time and was not injured.
The NYPD on Monday night also announced that a Crime Stoppers reward leading to the arrest and indictment of the shooter has been increased to $10,000.
