New NYPD surveillance images capture the suspect in the shooting of a 15-year-old boy on board a rush-hour Queens train – as the teen’s mother revealed her son is now paralyzed from the waist down. 

The young victim was blasted in the neck and back around 6 p.m. Monday on a northbound A train approaching 80th Street in Ozone Park, police said. 

The violence erupted when the teen recognized another 15-year-old boy, who had shot him back on Feb. 7, riding the train with a friend, law enforcement sources said. 

A fight broke out – and at some point the February shooter’s pal grabbed a gun that his accomplice was carrying and shot their rival, according to the sources. 

The pair then fled as the victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.

Cops said the victim was listed in stable condition — but his mom told The Post her son is not doing well.

“He’s paralyzed from the waist down,” said the victim’s mother, who only wanted to be identified as Ms. Davidson. “He had 8 [blood] transfusions. Both of his jaws are broken. His lung is pierced and his liver is pierced as well.”

Grabs from the surveillance footage show the suspected shooter with a medium build, medium complexion and his hair in braids. 

He was last seen wearing all black clothing and gray sneakers.

Davidson said she’s seen the images, but doesn’t recognize the suspect.

“I’ve never seen him before,” she said.

The anguished mom, seemingly choked-up, said she didn’t know what fueled the violence, adding, “This is too much.”

Meanwhile, law enforcement sources revealed the same teen was shot two months ago by the gunman’s pal.

The February violence erupted around 4:55 p.m. on Everdell Avenue near Gateway Boulevard in Far Rockaway, the sources said. 

The teen victim was shot in the leg during a dispute and the alleged gunman was arrested 10 days later, according to the sources. 

But the young victim suddenly became uncooperative and refused to provide testimony, so the district attorney’s office declined to prosecute the case, the sources said. 

A neighbor of the teen shooting victim said he believes he’s seen the suspected gunman before.

“I don’t know if he lives around here but I’ve seen him around,” he added. “This whole neighborhood is bad. You see these kids around in groups all the time.”

A local resident of more than 30 years said he knows the boy’s family.

“I’m sorry to hear what happened,” he said. “It’s a different era. People have to take that into account.”

“If you don’t give kids hope as well as a chance to live, where do they go for recreation? It’s like every day, it’s the same shenanigans,” the neighbor added. “As families and communities we have to give them hope. We have to show them something outside of what they see.”
