NYPD officers pulled a teen to safety Saturday afternoon when she fell in the East River in Greenpoint, police said Monday.
The 17-year-old went into the drink near Newtown Creek just before 5 p.m. Saturday and was struggling to swim to safety, police said.
The NYPD Harbor Unit sent out two scuba divers to save the teen, who was safely pulled onto a department boat, according to a video released Monday.
