A 26-year-old man was stabbed with a butcher knife on a Manhattan subway train Wednesday night in yet another instance of transit-system violence
The victim was knifed in the leg and left finger after getting into a dispute with another straphanger on a northbound 2 train around 11 p.m., police said.
A woman who was riding the train with the victim pepper-sprayed the stabber, who then fled the train — hopping off at the 72nd Street station on the Upper West Side, according to the NYPD.
