A cuffed inmate pushed a cop while being transported and took off into Harlem Thursday morning, police said.
The 25-year-old man had just been discharged from the hospital, and officers were taking him to the precinct to be processed around 9:50 a.m. when he ran off near Lenox Avenue and West 137th Street, according to cops.
Police were canvassing the neighborhood.
“He’s cuffed so he shouldn’t be that hard to find,” a police spokesman said.
The man was in custody for violating an order of protection, cops said.
