The NYPD is looking for whoever stole “Oz,” an adorable, and pricey — “Alaskan Klee Kai” dog, from a Bergen Beach, Brooklyn backyard last month.

The dog’s owner had left him leashed in the backyard at 2 p.m. on April 21; when he returned four hours later, Oz was gone, police said.

“Help our @NYPDDetectives find this #Wanted person for stealing ‘Oz,’ a Alaskan Klee Kai dog,” the 63rd Precinct tweeted Saturday night.

Surveillance video captured images of a man leading the dog south on East 73rd St., police said.

The miniature Husky breed is known for being energetic and intelligent; males typically weigh in at under 20 pounds. Klee Kai’s can be worth in the thousands of dollars.
