A hotheaded NYPD sergeant allegedly choked his wife during an argument inside their Brooklyn apartment yesterday, law-enforcement sources said.

Sgt. George St Louis, 37, allegedly held his wife inside their bathroom for a few minutes, yanked her arm and choked her, police sources said.

The victim did not suffer any injuries, police sources said.

St. Louis was arrested at about 11 p.m. yesterday and was charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.
