An NYPD sergeant was arrested on rape charges Wednesday for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a minor that began when she was 14 years old, sources said.

Joel Doseau, 43, was taken into custody while he was on duty at around 8 a.m. in Williamsburg for having the affair with the teenager which lasted over the course of a several years, according to police sources.

Doseau was arrested by Kings County District Attorney’s Office and Internal Affairs investigators.

He was hit with a slew of charges including rape, sexual misconduct, and sexual abuse.

The sergeant was arraigned in Brooklyn Supreme Court Wednesday and released on $100,000 bail.
