The NYPD announced Friday it will resume posting promotions, transfers and retirement notices on a clipboard made available to the media, but will continue to withhold news of disciplinary proceedings against cops.

The department for years had posted all of these personnel orders in the press office, including “dispositions of disciplinary proceedings,” but yanked them last month after the legal bureau determined such disclosures violated a section of the state Civil Rights Law that protects a cop’s disciplinary record.

After further review, the NYPD determined that posting the non-disciplinary categories doesn’t violate that law.
