A Massachusetts filmmaker claims a sound cannon used by NYPD cops to control a Midtown crowd protesting Eric Garner’s death damaged his hearing.

Michael Nusbaum, 26, wants permission to sue the city for damage from the Long Range Acoustic Device used on Dec. 5, 2014. The device is 25 times louder than a bullhorn, says his Manhattan civil suit.

The city’s Law Department said, “The petition will be reviewed.”
