The lovefest between the White House and the Rev. Al Sharpton continued yesterday at the civil-rights activist’s annual National Action Network convention.

Presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett praised Sharpton for his activism, including recent jaunts to Arizona to protest border policies that some see as discriminatory.

“We have a lot of hard work ahead, and Rev. Sharpton, I hope you have your battle fatigues on, because after the words you’ve been saying the past couple of days, they’re going to be coming after you,” Jarrett said.
