An off-duty cop was busted for trying to rob a woman on a Staten Island street early Friday, cops said.

Kevin Williams, 34, was apparently intoxicated when he approached a woman on Castleton Avenue near Cebra Avenue in Tomkinsville around 12:15 a.m.

He pushed the woman and pulled on her pocketbook before bolting without taking anything, police said.

Cops caught him before he could get too far.

He was charged with attempted robbery, assault and harassment.
