The off-duty cop who was shot Tuesday night in Brooklyn had $1,100 on him at the time and may have been involved in a drug deal, law-enforcement sources said.

Officer Tremaine Oxley, who was wounded in the armed robbery while sitting in a car with his cousins in East New York, is “shady,” according to another police source.

Shooter Tori Saunders, 22, fled the scene but was later busted on Long Island after cops tracked his cell phone, sources said. Saunders was awaiting arraignment Friday night Brooklyn Criminal Court.

Another man, William Parker, was in the car when Saunders was arrested but he was never charged.
