An off-duty firefighter was busted Saturday for grabbing his girlfriend by the throat while they were having an argument, police said.
Bruce Haughton, 35, was arrested shortly after midnight on the Upper East Side after his girlfriend complained to cops that he had tried to force her to move by putting his hands around her neck, authorities said.
Haughton was charged with assault. He was expected to be arraigned Saturday at Manhattan Criminal Court.
