An off-duty firefighter was arrested Sunday night after he crashed his car in the Bronx, then exchanged punches with the driver of the other vehicle, police sources said.

FDNY member Damian Lapene, 38, allegedly got into a car accident with 35-year-old Sadri Uzeiroski just before 7 p.m. near City Island on Shore Road.

The two hot-heads argued after the collision before trading words for closed fists, sources said.

Cops were called to settle the dispute, and both men were charged with assault.
