An off-duty NYPD cop was busted in Queens for allegedly biting his girlfriend in the leg during a squabble over a phone, police said Tuesday.
Christopher Valencia, 28, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Monday and charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault and harassment in connection to the incident that left his 25-year-old girlfriend with minor injuries on her left thigh inside his home, authorities said.
Police said the violence stemmed from a dispute over a phone, but had no further details.
Valencia was arrested in the confines of the 110th Precinct, which covers Corona and Elmhurst, where he is assigned, according to police.
Valencia has been with the NYPD for about 3.5 years, according to authorities.
