Ed Koch must be “Feelin’ Groovy.”

The City Council yesterday voted to rename the Queensboro Bridge — made famous in part by Simon & Garfunkel’s 1960s folk hit “The 59th Street Bridge Song” — in honor of the 105th mayor.

Mayor Bloomberg will sign the bill within 20 days, making it the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge.

Twelve members voted against the proposal, with some arguing it robs Queens of its identity.

“This is not about Ed Koch,” said Peter Vallone Jr. (D-Queens). “It’s about pride in our borough and pride in our bridge.”

Koch dismissed the comments, and said the renaming was “one of the high honors, the high points in my professional life.”

He joked that he will now stand against any proposed tolls on the span. “This is a workman’s bridge, and therefore no tolls,” he vowed.
