A general store in Rhode Island that state officials once proclaimed the oldest in the country is closing its doors today after 224 years.
Gray’s Store owner Jonah Waite, a 21-year-old senior at the University of Hartford in Connecticut, inherited the business after his father died last month.
He said the store’s finances aren’t sustainable and he’s considering selling.
