An on-duty cop in a marked patrol car was arrested this morning for allegedly driving drunk in East New York after attending a fundraiser on the clock, authorities said.

Christopher Morris, 31, was charged with DWI and refusing to take a breath test after smashing his marked police cruiser into a pole around 4:10 a.m., sources said. The pole toppled onto a civilian’s car and police responded to the scene, sources said.

No one was injured, according to police.

Morris had just attended a fundraiser for the daughters of slain Police Officer Peter Figoski and was on his way back to his precinct on Sutter Avenue, sources said.

The event was held at the Lindenwood Diner.

Morris, who has been an NYPD cop for five years, was suspended without pay for the incident and Internal Affairs is investigating, sources said.
