Two men were stabbed — one fatally — outside a Manhattan homeless shelter early Thursday, according to police.
The injured men were found around 4:45 a.m. after a 911 call for an assault near 52nd Street and 9th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, outside the Urban Pathways 9th Avenue Drop-In Center.
An unidentified man stabbed multiple times in the torso was declared dead at Bellevue Hospital.

Police cordoned off an area where two men were stabbed in Manhattan on Thursday, April 23, 2026. WABCA 34-year-old man who was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen was also rushed to Bellevue, where he is in stable condition, cops said.
No arrests have been made, but police are searching for a person of interest who fled southbound on 9th Avenue on a bicycle. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and blue pants.
The double stabbing happened outside 771 9th Ave., the address of the Urban Pathways 9th Avenue Drop-In Center, which offers 24/7 services for the homeless, including overnight stays.
