ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Authorities say one man is dead and another is hospitalized after they were shot during a home invasion in Rochester.

Police say a group of men opened fire inside an apartment around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Two wounded men, both 28, ran out of the house.

Officials say one was shot several times and later died at a Rochester hospital. The other was wounded in the shoulder and collapsed near the entrance to the Rochester School for the Deaf. He remained hospitalized Thursday.

The victims’ names haven’t been released.

Police say they are looking for three or four individuals believed to be involved in the shooting.
