One person was killed, and another injured, during unrelated subway incidents overnight, police said Saturday.
A homeless man was fatally struck by the shuttle train at Grand Central Station at around 11:35 p.m. Friday, police and FDNY spokespersons said.
The victim, who was in his 50s, was hit after he somehow got onto the eastbound tracks. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital Center, but could not be saved.
Police said they do not suspect criminality.
A second man was injured when he fell underneath a southbound F train at around 3:45 a.m. Saturday while walking between cars in Brooklyn, cops said.
The 34-year-old hurt his head and left knee when he fell from the train as it was rolling into York Street Station.
He was taken to Bellevue with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
