The spate of shootings in New York City appeared to abate overnight, with one incident reported.
A 21-year-old man was shot in the torso around 12:10 a.m. Saturday in front of 619 West 144th St. in Hamilton Heights, police said.
He was taken to Harlem Hospital and is expected to survive, according to the NYPD.
A black Dodge Charger was seen fleeing the scene.
Police said they did not have a description of a suspect and the investigation was ongoing.
