A 26-year-old man was shot in the chest in Harlem, police said.
The gunfire erupted just before 10:30 p.m. Friday outside West 129th Street and Lenox Avenue, cops said.
The suspect approached his target and shot him, authorities said.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. Dakota Santiago (FreedomNewsTV)The victim, who was hit once, was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, an NYPD spokesman said on Saturday. There are no arrests.
